SAE Automotive Meet, on 21 Dec 2017

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, hosted the Students Convention Programme in which 13 experts from automotive industries in Chennai made their presence felt as the dignitaries of this prestigious event. The SAE Collegiate Club (Professional Society) of Mechanical Engineering Department coordinated this event. The programme was managed by Mr. Sivasubramanian, Faculty Advisor for SAE India Collegiate Club, Mr P Dinesh , Asst.Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department and Ms. S Arulselvi, Asst. Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department. The experts were from organizations such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault Nissan and SRM University. Thirty two events were conducted successfully with the participation of 10 colleges. This programme was approved by the SAE India Southern Section (Mahindra & Mahindra Division). It was a remarkable experience for the participants as well as an eye-opener into the goings-on of the automotive industry.
