Guest Lecture - Design, Analysis & Detailing using software, organized by Dept of Civil Engineering, on 19 Aug 2019

A Guest Lecture was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 19/08/2019 at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. The speaker was Mr. P.Pavithran from Petricore Technologies and Engineering Services Ltd. He was introduced by Mr. T. N. Rajkumar, the HoD/Civil. Mr. Suresh.S of final year welcomed the gathering. The speaker highlighted the 2D Drafting and 3D modelling. He elaborated indetail on the latest technology updates in the industry like Magical realism, which helps to provide design communication. He also discussed about the industrial case studies on BIM (Building Information Modelling). He created awareness to the students on the career benefits of learning Autodesk software. The guest lecture ended with Vote of Thanks by Ms. R. Deepiya AP/Civil.
