Online Workshop On "Obstacle Avoider Bots" , on 18 February 2023

Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Recent trends on Cloud Computing”. The Technical Session had started at 11.50 am and Mr. Manoj Kumar, through his lucid presentation on the topic Obstacle avoider and line follower robots had explained about the various features and functionalities of hardware design of robots and the principle behind obstacle detection through sensors and processors. He also detailed on the different variants Ardiuno controllers being deployed in the design of obstacle avoider bots. A survey of different deployment scenarios and situations of usage of obstacle avoider bots were also explained to the audience by Mr.Manoj. Post to Mr.Manoj’s Session n the hardware design part of the Bot controller, Mr. Amit kumar, from AICRA started to deliberate on the programming aspects of the obstacle avoidance bot controller.He explained the Basic commands, built in functions of embedded programming with Ardiuno microcontroller following which he detailed on the coding of a Real time obstacle avoider Bot for a predefined industrial environment.
