Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering has 1 TN Battalion NCC since 2017. Initially it started with an allotment of 52 cadets. In the year 2018 the allotment was increased to 104. CSUO Mr V R Sankararaman from the first batch in National Trek which has been conducted in Kerala. He has been nominated as Camp senior which has been conducted at VIT. A troop of six cadets led by Mr Sankararaman won the silver medal in tent pitching competition by completing it in 6 minutes and 54 seconds.Mr Giridhar of First batch 2020 reached upto RDC training 2. Dr Manoj Kumar R, underwent training at Kamptee and got the Associate Ncc Officer (ANO) of our college. He has been trained by various army officers in that camp. Obstacle and firing range facility has been constructed on the campus. The NCC cadets from all over Tamil Nadu utilizes this facility.
