In collaboration with National Instruments, Bangalore, LabVIEW Academy has been established and students are trained for LabVIEW certification.
Centre of Excellence for 3D Printing Powered by M/s NexGen Pvt. Ltd., Chennai
DCE has a Centre of Excellence for 3D Printing. The CoE is collaborated with M/s NexGen Pvt. Ltd.. Four Faculty members have been trained on 3D Printing by the company at their venue. News has been published in the Daily News paper. Students have fabricated prototypes using the 3D printers available at the campus.

Their mission was clear – to revolutionize learning through cutting-edge technology. With immersive solutions like AR and VR classrooms, they empowered students to embrace knowledge with excitement and curiosity. The impact was extraordinary – classrooms came alive with enthusiasm, and students flourished like never before. Word spread, and their startup became a beacon of hope, inspiring young minds worldwide. Their journey exemplified the potential of student-driven innovation, shaping a world where education knew no boundaries, and dreams knew no limits.
Centre of Excellence for Drones
DCE has initiated a drone club to enhance the enthusiasm of the students in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. A drone lab’s goal is to promote innovation, investigate new avenues, and realize drone technology's full potential across industries. It aspires to become a pre-eminent centre for drone research, development, and practical applications, supporting the development of the drone industry and enhancing society. To aid students in this field extensively one drone simulator and two commercial drones are acquired by the institution, one surveillance drone and another agriculture spraying drone of small category from Dhaksha Unmanned systems. In which two faculty members are trained in MIT – CASR for a small category drone pilot license supported by the institution.
Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles
Centre of Excellence for Electric vehicles has been established with a motto of taking part in the Environment Friendly concept of our country. Through this CoE students are trained about fabrication of electric vehicles. Electric vehicles are used in college for campus touring and monitoring.
